Meet our Team

Before creating Harpeth Hills Insurance, LLC in 2010, Scott Woods spent 20 years developing systems, plans and products for health insurance companies such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana and United Healthcare. He began working with the Rural Health Association in 2014 and has expanded their Medicare Education programs in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.

Scott has created an environment where agents are able to give the best advice possible, with no pressure to place clients in particular plans or even make a sale.

Scott got his Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Nicholls State University and his Masters in Health Care Administration from LSU. He obtained his CLU designation in 2007.

Elizabeth Pyron worked for the Area Agency on Aging of Northeast Georgia, with 2 years as Meals on Wheels Coordinator, then 6 years as SHIIP Coordinator, responsible for Medicare Education for 13 counties of northeast Georgia. Before that she was Startup Coordinator for Family Connection in Habersham County and Senior Technical Editor for INPO, where she managed health and other benefits for 450 employees.

Elizabeth has testified before Congress on Extra Help and Patient Assistance Programs and has made videos on Medicare topics for Governor Nathan Deal's office and AARP.

Elizabeth obtained her Bachelors Degree in Social Science from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia.
